Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS)
The Compressive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) was compiled by the Board of Directors of the Development District of Central Texas. This document is the result of many brainstorming sessions in which the 27 member Board identified the needs of the region along with its strengths and weaknesses. The CEDS is composed of the status of the region, vision, goals and objectives. Also within the CEDS, is the District's action plan and evaluation format. The goals, objectives and action plan will be revised as needed each year. The Economic Development Administration requires Economic Development Districts to revise, update, or publish a new CEDS at least every five years.
